Schedule a pre-screening with Dr. Parlor to learn more about how psychotherapy can benefit you!

Payment is expected at the end of every session. We accept credit cards check, or cash. Embracing Alchemy does not accept insurance and offers a complimentary superbill for patients seeking out-of-network reimbursement for billable services with their insurance providers.

Cancellation Policy:

Clients can cancel their weekly session at any time. To be considerate of your provider’s schedule and time, we require 24-hour advance notice of a cancellation. However, we know that unexpected things can happen at the last minute, so if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and you have not notified us 24 hours in advance, we will try to reschedule your appointment within the week of your appointment or see you twice the following week (if you are being seen weekly). If we are unable to reschedule, you will be responsible for the full fee for the missed session.

You may cancel a session by calling or leaving a message by text and/or through the secure patient portal.

Offering 60 minute ($125) individual sessions and 75 minute ($50 per person) self-selected group session (minimum of 3 and up to 5 people)

Clinical Supervision
Offered on an as needed basis or as an ongoing weekly engagement to introduce and/or to enhance CBT knowledge and clinical skills (e.g. Challenges such as: instances of acting out, set-backs, impasses in patient treatment progress, sophisticated risk assessment, integrated cultural conceptualization) with the goal of facilitating their increased effectiveness as a therapist towards positive treatment outcomes. Sessions can also focus on professional development, imposter syndrome, colleague relationship dynamics involving issues of diversity (e.g. gender, racial, SES identity/expression in the work setting).

Embracing Alchemy can provide a complimentary superbill for all billable treatment services for submission to insurance providers. We are out of network with all insurance companies, so if you have out-of-network behavioral health benefits, billable services will be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. Usually, after you meet your deductible, your insurance provider will reimburse a percentage of a rate determined by them to be reasonable. Most insurance providers cover 60% to 80% of that reasonable rate. That rate is often different than our fee, so we recommend that you check your out-of-network plan for the exact coverage.

To check your out-of-network benefits, call the number on the front or the back of your insurance card (member services) and request answers for the following questions:
- What are my out-of-network behavioral health benefits for an office and/or telehealth visit?
- What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met? 
- What is a reasonable rate for billing code 90791?
- What is a reasonable rate for billing code 90837?

They will tell you the percentage of the reasonable rate they reimburse.
